UltraSuperNew Gallery needed to unify its gallery's scattered digital presence. The goal was to move away from a dated "galaxy" aesthetic and create a unified, refined platform that could handle everything from exhibition schedules to international e-commerce.

Challenge

The biggest friction point for users was the lack of a central source of truth. If a visitor wanted to check out an exhibition, they’d visit one site, but if they wanted to buy a print, they were redirected elsewhere. This fragmentation made navigation more complex and weakened the brand identity.

Because of this, users often struggled to find the most basic information: who the artist was, where the gallery was located, and when they could actually visit.

New skills

Beyond the visuals, we integrated new features that expanded the gallery's reach. We launched a global shop for artist merchandise and implemented a ticketing system for KURA’s exclusive supper clubs.

I also built a booking feature for "appointment-only" days, giving the team better control over gallery foot traffic and providing a more curated experience for visitors.

Outcome

The result is a cohesive digital ecosystem where exhibitions, event tickets, and merchandise live harmoniously. Since the launch of the revamp, KURA has seen a 14% increase in user sessions.
